Year 2C and 2T have begun the year by reading 'Charlie & the Chocolate Factory' by Roald Dahl.

Here are some photos of us cooking a Mars Bar Slice.

Mars Bar Slice
Ingredients:
3 Mars Bars
75g Margarine
3 cups Rice Bubbles
1 large Bar Chocolate

1. Melt Mars Bars and margarine.
2. Mix in Rice Bubbles.
3. Flatten into a baking tray covered with grease proof paper.
4. Cover with melted chocolate.
5. Refrigerate until hard.
Chocolate Crackles
Ingredients:
4 cups Rice Bubbles
1 ½ Cups Icing Sugar
1 cup Desiccated Coconut
3 tablespoons Cocoa
250 grams Copha

1. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
2. Melt the copha and allow to cool slightly.
3. Add copha to Rice Bubble mixture.
4. Spoon mixture into patty cases and refrigerate until firm.
