| THE JOURNEY CONTINUES ………2006 Rochedale State School commenced its journey along the pathways of Values Education in 2005 and will be continuing this journey in a variety of ways in 2006. Our values have been embraced by our whole school community and are the foundations of everything that is done at Rochedale State School from behaviour support right through to curriculum delivery. Our values underpin the foundation of our Responsible Behaviour Plan for Students that is currently being developed. 2006 has seen the introduction of Values Posters in every classroom where teachers have displayed these posters for children’s awareness and class discussion of the values. One of the recommendations of our Parent Forum was to promote our school values through visual means. Currently, we are in the process of designing and producing Values posters which will depict our students modelling the six values. These posters will adorn the walls of our Office foyer and Library and will inspire students to focus on the school’s six values and to live these values. In 2006 Rochedale State School is continuing its journey along the pathways of Values Education and working in partnership with the school community to develop a successful Values Education program.
