To finish off their unit of work on Bears, Year 1 children at Rochedale State School, held a Teddy Bears picnic on Friday, 22 March, 2002, and invited all their favourite bears along for the day. Here's some photos:

The children sorted their bears into 2 groups - big bears and little bears.

Then the children described their bears.

Big ones and small ones - all much loved children's favourites.

Then it was off to a Teddy Bears' Picnic with lots of yummy food.

If you went into the woods today, would you have a surprise!!

A game of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears was great fun too!
