Shaving Day
There was a farm called Cherrydale and on Cherrydale farm there was milk from cows and eggs from hens.
On Cherry Dale farm lived
a farmer called Sam. Sam had a dog called Harry.
It was shaving day so farmer Sam called the shavers. The shavers are the people who shave the sheep.
Farmer Sam called the dog, but Harry the dog would not come. He had followed a picture of a sheep on a van and Harry the dog got lost.
The farmer got worried so the farmer looked everywhere except the woods. The farmer was tired but nothing could stop him and he didn’t give up.
It was wet and there were a lot of trees. It was
dark and there was no sun to see the way.
