The Lost Sheep Dog
Once there was a farmer called Bob and a sheep dog called Max. Max had ears that looked like a semi circle. Max’s paws were round. He also had brown and white spots and a short tail.
Farmer Bob wore a wide brimmed hat with a piece of straw hanging down from his hat. He wore a brown shirt and blue shorts.
Max and Bob lived on Teaneck farm. Teaneck farm had a lot of trees and sheep.
Lots of people came to visit Teaneck because the people got to play with the farm animals. Most people liked riding on the horse Spane.
One autumn the sheep’s wool was getting really long and ready for shearing. Farmer Bob called the four shearers Mickle, Greg, Patrick and Peter. “You have to shear 81 sheep to day,” said
Farmer Bob.
