Year 2 students at Rochedale State School wrote some descriptive narratives during their unit of work on Farms. Here are some of them.

  Farmer Joe to the Rescue
There once lived a Farmer, a cow and a chicken. The farmer’s name was Joe, the cow’s name was Waggle and  the chicken’s name was Eddy. The Farm was named Lilydale farm. The farm had a big farm house and a forest next to it. On the other side of the farm house was a very large paddock .

The cow had a large head and big ears on his head. On the cow’s body he had a white and black spotty body and 4 long legs. On the cow’s big feet he had large toes. The cow had a very long tail. The chicken had a short beak and two beady eyes and a hairy body. The chicken had three toes on each foot.

The farmer had a red and green cap. On the farmer’s head he had short black hair. Farmer Joe had two eyes and a big nose. Farmer Joe always had a smile on his face and he wore striped pants with straps around his shoulders. Farmer Joe wore green boots and a black shirt.
