Children at Rochedale State School have a choice of two
languages to study - French or Chinese. They begin in Year 6 and continue to
Year 7 at our school, and Year 8 in High School.
All classes have a weekly Music lesson and have the
opportunity to be in the School Choirs or learn an instrument.
Physical Education is also a big part of our curriculum and our
kids compete in State Swimming Carnivals and Athletics Championships as well as
playing inter-school sports. Some of our
children have gone on to represent Queensland in these sports.
