The Pookidoos visited Rochedale State School on Monday, 2 April, 2001. The characters were Millie, Woot Woot and Whizzy, the water drop. They taught the children the importance of water through a variety of songs and dances.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the show and met the characters after the show.

Here's some of our photos from the Pookidoos!!

The Pookidoos dance and jive away.

The Year 1's dancing (Well at least they are trying!)

Come on kids, dance!!

Milli and Woof Woof are cool saving water.

I know how to save water!

Whizzy wants a hug too!

Woof Woof, do you want to be my pet dog?

How come you are a fat puppy?

Ways to Save Water!

1. When you brush your teeth or wash your hands, only use the water you need.
2. Short showers keep you fresh for hours.
3. Splish splash, don't fill up the bath!
4. Why rush to flush - toilets use heaps of water.
5. Another tip - fix the drip!!
6. Saving water doing dishes, saves some for the fishes!
7. Go with the low flow - replace shower heads with low flow versions.
8. To save the most, go compost - kitchen sink disposals use heaps of water!!

Thank you for coming to our school!!
