Jack
By Emma
Jack was a friend,
From the old outback,
We travelled for miles and miles.
No matter how far,
We drove our car,
We never gave up on the trials.
Jack and I really deny,
We’ll always be together,
Forever.
I crossed my heart,
We’d never part,
Even if we crossed the plain.
Jack is a dog,
And I don’t care,
Even if he doesn’t wear underwear,
He’s still my pal! |
Gold Upon The Beach
By Rachel
Gold upon the ocean beach,
Gold beneath shells white and peach.
Seagulls swooping ‘round and ‘round,
Waves are crashing upon the golden ground.
Kites are flying way above,
Crabs are dancing with their biting glove.
Soldier crabs are soaking the sun,
In the salt waves is number one.
Golden grit and sea weed,
Near the surf you have no need.
Guess this gold I sift through my hand,
Surprise, surprise! It’s the ocean sand.
