Welcome Back – Term 2
A very warm welcome to everyone for term 2.

Term 2 is a ten week term the last day of term being Friday, 23 June. 

The ANZAC Day holiday will take place on Tuesday, 25 April, the Labour Day holiday will take place on Monday, 1 May and the Queen’s Birthday holiday will be celebrated on Monday, 12 June.

Report cards will be issued at the end of this term and parent teacher interviews are also able to be arranged.

If you wish to discuss any school related issues, please don’t hesitate to contact either our Deputy

Principals Mr Burton, Mrs Francis or myself to make an appointment.

Anzac Ceremony Badges
Our 2006 Anzac Ceremony will be held in the Activities Building, this Friday, 21 April, commencing at 9.00am.  All parents and interested citizens are invited to attend this significant event.

Anzac Badges are available for sale at the school office for 50c.

Holiday – Next Tuesday
Parents are reminded that next Tuesday, 25 April, 2006 is the ANZAC Day Holiday and the school will be closed on that day. 

P & C Meeting
Please note the next P & C Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 26 in the teacher’s staffroom, starting at 7.00pm.  All are welcome.

 

Uniform shop
Welcome back to Term 2!  Just a reminder that the Uniform Shop will be open again this Thursday and Friday from 8.00 – 9am.  If you are unable to come during these times, please feel free to use the website facility to order your uniforms. Winter Uniform Orders are now CLOSED.  Orders have now   been placed and we cannot accept late orders.  All winter uniforms ordered will arrive the first week of May and will be ready for pick up on 11-12 May, 2006.  If you have missed out we do have some second hand winter uniforms available for sale at reasonable prices.

Welcome back everyone.  Hope you all had a Happy Easter. Thank you Katrina and Jenny for your much needed help last term.

Apple Slinky Machine
Don’t forget to bring your apples to the tuckshop and I will turn out a slinky for 30c or purchase an apple for 80c to turn out a slinky.

New Drink – We are now stocking Fuze a new drink on the market.  Currently stocking 3 flavours for $1.30 – Raspberry, Passionfruit and Orange.  Fuze has no added sugar, is 99% fruit juice and has no artificial colours or flavours.

Volunteers Needed

lease, are you able to offer assistance on Fridays?  We are in urgent need of volunteers on Friday’s.  This day is the busiest of the week.  If you can only help out for 2 or 3 hours, please give me a call at home on 3341 1149 or pop into the tuckshop.

Friday Interschool Sports – Years 5,6,7
If you are attending interschool sport on Fridays you must put your order in the plastic container marked “SPORT’ on the counter before you go to parade.  Please mark on orders “SPORT’.  You must also order chips and drinks through the bag system.  (NO bag - NO goodies).
