Welcome to our Library page. On this page we'll have our current weekly news,
exciting events, photos of our newly refurbished library and coming
soon, a list of sites that we find useful.
Library News - Term 3 Week 6
Book Week – The theme for this
year is “Fuel Your Mind”. Book Week will be held this week the 18th
to the 22nd August. Prep to Grade 3 will be having a dress up day on
Wednesday 20th at 9.00am. Grade 4-7 will be going along to see a
Musical called Rev It Up which will be on the First of September.
Library Loans
- It is great to see so many students using a library bag to protect
their library book loans. If by chance there is damage caused to the
book while you have it on loan or you notice some previous damage
can you let the library staff know when you return the book so it
can be repaired .
Library Award
– last week our award went to Andrew G from 3D
Library Staff
Book Fair –
Thank you to everyone who supported our Book Fair. Money raised will
purchase books for the school library. I apologise for the confusion
over being able to use credit cards. Thank you for your
understanding in this matter.
A great afternoon
was held Thursday with many children taking the opportunity to have
their photo taken with Clifford the Dog. He also visited some
classrooms and made a special appearance at Parade last Friday.
Reader’s Cup
- There was very strong competition between students in Years 5, 6
and 7. In Year 7, a tie-breaker question had to be asked to work out
the eventual winner. Congratulations to Taylor P (Year 5), Curtis V
(Year 6) and Heba O (Year 7)
