Comments: I moved to the town of Highlands here in New Jersey from up north
and began hearing about Pirates who had been in this area back
when pirates were around. I read up on the history of some of them
and discovered much I had not been aware of. Morgan was one of
them. The County the town of Highlands N.J. is in, is Monmouth and it
has an extensive history about it. I have even heard that there
may be some buried pirate treasure out here somewhere.
I have spoken to one of the old fishermen in the area who had
found GOLD coins back in the 1940's and, who knows, maybe there
are more where that came from. Thanks for the PAGE. More to come
