spiders and clearly classifies them. This website is VERY constructive and must've took a long
time to make. I give this site 2-Spiders up...

It helped me a lot with the report I had to do on spiders, and I rate it number 1!!!

terrifies me. I think I could never visit Australia for fear of Sydney funnel-web spiders. (As
a matter of fact, I doubt I'll ever travel below a certain latitude-- seems the warmer the
weather, the bigger the spiders.)

But you guys have a great page-- very well organized, written, and absolutely fascinating. I'm

live in NW. Ga. U.S.A. From the pictures on your page I think it is some kind of wolf spider. It
was in a smooth dug out hole. had many babys. It played dead when I dug it up. It is dark brown
in color . does not seem to be hairy. has long thick fangs. It is just about1 inch long. It
appears to be secreating some kind of brown mucus, that could be mud but the ground seemed to be
dry. I wish I could send a picture but I have no way to at the presant time. If you could help
to identifie I would appreciate it. Thank You Joel
