Rochedale State School has an active Student Council, comprised of representatives from each class - a boy and girl - from Years 5 to 7. These children meet with Ms Cooney, our Teacher Librarian, and discuss issues which affect the whole school community.

Here's some of the activities that our Student Council has been involved in this year:

2009 STUDENT COUNCIL REPORT

Clean up Australia Day –

Members of our student council asked for volunteers to assist in helping to do a sweep and clean up of the school. This was done on the Friday before the national clean up Australia day. As you can see students managed to do a very good job and picked up a large amount of rubbish.

The Student Council is still raising money for oiur World Vision child, Rosa Man. Here is a photo of Rosa Man. Click here for more information.
