Few teachers experience an insider’s view of China with a group of teachers from all over Australia. Miss Rea was lucky enough to win a scholarship to China for 17 days, through Access Asia.  Sixteen teachers were selected from all over Australia to participate in this amazing journey.

The tour began in Kunming which is in the southern province of Yunnan. From here we travelled by bus past green paddy fields and terraced banana and sugar cane plantations to Mojiang.  Here we were warmly welcomed by locals from the Hani Minority Village and were invited to dance with them.

Annmyree from ACT and Milton  from Padbury WA join in the festivities.

From here we travelled by bus to Simao ready for our first lessons with Chinese students who eagerly awaited our arrival.
