| On Friday, 15 February, 2008, we had not one but three lots of visitors to our school. At 7am, the 96.5FM crew set up on our oval to broadcast their morning show. There was also a jumping castle, a free sausage sizzle and drinks and coffee to wake up the parents. Some of the Brisbane Bulls players had a game of cricket with the kids on our oval. Then at around 9am, the Ch 7 helicopter flew over the school, filming the smiley face made out of 800 eager students. After landing, John Schluter addressed the students and presented the school with a weather gauge before flying off to Mackay to cover the weather there. What a fun morning!! | |
